2008 RosterThe roster for the 2008 Stangeland Family Youth Choral Academy has been finalized. We would like to thank everyone who applied this year. A Triumphant Final ConcertSome say it was the best ever - no doubt the 2006 YCA concert was a rich and rewarding night with exquisite music. YCA Sings Bach and Mozart in '06The bar has been raised for the 2006 Youth Choral Academy: to surpass the performance of Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem, the centerpiece of the YCA’s performance last July. The Requiem, a Bach motet conducted by Helmuth Riling, and the joyous gospel number John the Revelator were the highlights as the crowd in Silva Hall instantly responded with a standing ovation. Oregon Bach Festival dates for 2006 are June 30-July 16. 2006 Auditions UpcomingLast year's YCA attracted singers from 8 states across the country for 11 days of hard work and wonderful music. The 2006 edition takes place from June 26-July 6, 2006. Audtions are currently being scheduled for Feb-March, 2006. Stay tuned for specific dates or get on our mailing list to be alerted.
